"Sound" and "Light" are both sound wave on the electromagnetic spectrum. Visible light ranges from about 400 nanometers to 700 nanometers while audio ranges from about 100 km to about 10 megameters. Its a FREQUENCY of vibration. The eyes just choose to decode the faster waves as light and the ears decode the slower waves as sound.
